Binaural Beats & Isochronic Tones
Binaural Beats and isochronic tones are becoming an increasingly popular and effective tool for personal development amongst people world-wide - and rightly so, for with a tried and tested scientific approach, it exels in allowing one to effectively reprogram their mindthrough the entraining of their brain waves, in order to live a happier, and more fulfilling life.
Here exists a tool which in conjunction with your own imagination, can aid in eliminating certain negative attributes, as well as providing a gateway to the undiscovered depths of the human mind. There are literally hundreds of high quality mp3s to choose from!
How do Binaural Beats & Isochronic Tones Work?
The use of binaural beats to positively affect our brain waves is based on a number ofscientific studies on the human perception of sound frequencies.
Psychoacoustic studies show that the human ear can only sense frequencies between the ranges of 20 - 20,000Hz (cycles per second). Any frequencies below 20Hz are inaudible to the ear, but can be perceived by the body's sense of touch.
Certain frequencies relate to specific states of mind: for example a 15-30 minute session at 10Hz will produce a relaxed, serene state of mind; 20Hz will significantly increase cognitive ability and active thinking, while 2Hz will aid in inducing sleep. These brain states are induced through a 'frequency following response', which is the alignment of brain waves to the audio stimulus. In other words, your brain waves will match the frequency at which the brain perceives the tones, producing a desired state of mind. This technique is widely known as 'Brain Entrainment'...READ MORE
History of Brain Entrainment
Despite the scientific advancements in the research and development of binaural beats throughout the last few centuries, their usage has been a fixture of many ancient cultures, including the Native-American shamans, Tibetan monks, master-yogis and Hindu healers. These ancient tribes found that by producing consistent, rythmic beats, they could induce altered states of consciousness, resulting in both healing and spiritual benefits. Scientist Melinda Maxfield conducted research into several of these cultures....READ MORE
